This is Pretty Boy. I didn’t name him that but I was told from his guardians that that’s his name. The first time I said it to him he cried so loudly.
As if he’d never hear his name again...It nearly broke my heart but I was so happy to be able to get this information and it made him feel so much better and safe.
I have no idea how long he was lost for but he spent a couple of months in the park here but I never could get close to him.
Finally, I was able to feed him a few times before I scooped him up and brought him in at the same time I moved and instantly adopted the three cats that the previous tenant left. I only moved a couple of doors down so I’ve known these cats for a long time now and love them dearly....So....He made number 8. That was even the first name I gave him. Mr. Eight Ball. But, his name isn’t that it’s PRETTY BOY. LOL He was torn up and had fresh wounds from fights, not to mention many old scars that are obvious across his nose. Being an un-neutered male in the wild is a tough life for a cat. His paw was hurt and he was limping. I was desperate to heal him when I saw him limping for about 4 days before I was able to get him...I could hardly touch his leg.
I spent time loving and healing him. By the next morning his limp was gone and his scratches were much better. (I RULE!) He got groomed and all of his mats brushed out but unfortunately they did a hack job on his tail and legs...I’m not happy with that but it will grow back.... He got neutered 10 days ago (got outside on day 7) came home with his Incision site opened up! I was never curious about what an inside of a neutered scrotum look like on a cat but I found out!! Since I am a healer, I was able to do my energy work healing on him and close up that incision with no infection to speak of!
Hopefully by tomorrow it will be all better and he can go outside and play! But what about YOU?!? Will you go outside and play today? I sure hope the weather is lovey where you are and you can get outside and enjoy nature on this Monday. ♥️♾♥
